Managing Director

Mark joined Airclaims in 1984 from a regional audit firm, becoming Finance Director and Company Secretary in 1992 before being appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2005 and then Managing Director in 2006. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and member of the Institute of Directors.

Principal Surveyor, Director

Paul is a qualified aircraft engineer having gained experience working for large airlines. Experience includes specialisation in both structures and engines on a variety of large aircraft types in heavy maintenance and line maintenance areas. He has gained much experience since joining Airclaims in dealing with all aspects of claims management.

Deputy Principal Surveyor, Director

David is an experienced Aircraft Engineer, having served a full apprenticeship with British Airways, working on heavy jets, engines and avionic systems. This was followed by working 11 years in the Middle East for a developing Airline, where he held a number of management positions within technical maintenance departments. He has worked with Airclaims for 14 years.

Ken is responsible for management of Airclaims Inc business covering North America, Central America, South America and Caribbean. He has extensive aviation insurance broking experience gained with leading London Market companies involved in the handling of all aspects of aviation direct and reinsurance claims along with non-marine, property and casualty, oil and energy claims.

Director General, Airclaims France SA

Jean-Pierre gained experience as an aircraft design engineer and pilot having started his career with Bureau Veritas specialising in the engine department and covering engine repairers and manufacturers in the Paris district before taking on a general aviation role. Experience includes technical director of a large French helicopter operator and technical director of a large French airline. Fluent in French and English.

Regional Director, Airclaims Asia Pacific

Neil’s aviation career began as a Technician for Hawker Siddeley Aviation, then as a Flight Test Engineer and a Missile Trials Engineer at BAe. He worked as an aircraft maintenance engineer for Britannia Airways obtaining licences and moving into supervision/management. He held the position of Quality Assurance Superintendent/Acting Manager at Royal Brunei Airlines before joining Airclaims Singapore in 1991 where he has gained much experience of regional claims handling activities.

Director of Risk and Asset Management

Peter joined Airclaims from Willis where he was Director of Willis Aerospace Services, the risk management and industry consulting arm of Global Aviation. He has an MBA from his time at British Airways plus a second Masters degree in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University. He is a multi-licenced aircraft engineer and has been a qualified pilot for 15 years. Peter is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society (FRAeS) and Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI).

General Counsel

Darcy Beamer-Downie joined Airclaims, after 6 years with Beaumont / Clyde & Co. During this time she was involved in litigation on behalf of a wide range of clients including airlines, MROs and insurers. Darcy, who will head up the Airclaims Legal Services team, has also lectured extensively on the topic of space tourism and has advised various space interests. She is a Barrister and has a Masters in Air and Space Law from McGill University.

Marketing & Business Development Manager

Doug is responsible for all aspects of Airclaims' corporate marketing and communications. Prior to joining Airclaims in 2006, he held senior marketing positions across a variety of industries, including IT software and professional services. Doug holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Business Studies with Sports Science.

Group Financial Controller

Tanya joined Airclaims in November 2007 as Financial Controller after spending five years at Richemont International as Finance Manager and then Finance Controller.  She previously held financial reporting positions at DHL Worldwide Express, CDC Capital Partners and BUPA. She is a Chartered Accountant, having trained with Ernst and Young in both Spain and the UK, and recently became an associate member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers.  Tanya is fluent in Spanish.

Head of Human Resources

Janet joined Airclaims in 2007 as Human Resources Manager and is a FCIPD qualified human resources professional. Her experience spans 20 years in generalist roles with responsibility for HR strategy, administration, recruitment and selection, employment legislation, training and development, employee relations, and health and safety at firms such as Inchcape Management Services, JTB Europe, and JAC Recruitment, The Household of TRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.
