Airclaims’ Legal team specialises in the provision of legal services to the aviation insurance community, providing advice on a wide variety of liability issues.
Working very closely with our surveyors, they provide a seamless service for Aviation hull and liability claims adjusting.
They can advise upon a wide variety of legal liability issues and are able to investigate, pursue and negotiate claims in subrogation. Whilst most claims can be settled out of court, where litigation cannot be avoided, Airclaims can manage the activities of lawyers worldwide and provide technical assistance as required.
We advise airlines’ insurers in relation to legal issues emanating from the adjustment of aircraft hull insurance claims. Such legal issues include the review of applicable aircraft and/or engine repair agreements and advice as to the apportionment of risk in relation thereto, and negotiation on behalf of insurers in relation to such repair agreements. In addition, drawing up of release documentation, upon the finalisation of a claim, including liaison with third party interests as required is also accomplished.
